He was born about 3 weeks ago I think. He spent a week with his mama and then she was sent to the sale. I guess he went 2 weeks with out milk and now we are trying to get him to drink a little goat milk from a pail. I gave him full strengh goat milk this morning but he didn't take to it too well so this afternoon, I offered half water and half gm. I don't know how that will work. He is eating food so he won't starve.
I told my son we were going to name him Roast and my husband said we could name him Supper. J doesn't know yet what he really is going to be. I guess the sooner I tell him, the better.
J wants to call him Thunder
Hello Patty. And all the kids. :)
Oh, he is adorable! I vote for 'Super' for his name. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you had to get rid of Candy, but I guess that's part of homesteading and dairy goats. I can't wait to see more pics of your goats when you post them. You don't have a "Follow" link on this site?
Thank you for stopping by my blog. We are new to dairy goats and still have so much to learn. We only have two and they are both pregnant. We can't wait for our kids!
